I saw a post about the NS2/Overgrowth pack on the Savage 2 board and preordered the games a few days later (i.e. a few hours ago). I admit that NS2 was what mostly made me do it but I hope this game is gonna be worth playing as well.

I played Lugaru thanks to http://www.tigsource.com, and the same website alerted me about Overgrowth. Since then I've read Wolfire forum.

edit: miswriting...

p.s. Programmer's communities shows since... some decade at least that communism may work if enough prerequisites are met!!! :D

Whoa man, sooooooo not cool. It's spelled Lugaru. [Napoleon Dynamite voice]God! Get it right!. No, just kidding, no worries. Welcome to the "community".

On a random side note, I like how the word community has the same root and meaning as the word communism. And communication. And commune. It's like, *hint* hint* people. Whenever we cooperate in society, in a community, we're practicing COMMUNISM. I don't feel any different. That's weird, 'cause I thought communists killed babies and stole and lied. Funny.

You might start a flame war responding that way. It was only a side comment. Hold your peace, I implore you.

I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?

It was a hacking challenge site I frequented around '04 or so; someone in their IRC mentioned Lugaru, I bought it 20 minutes later.
