Here's an oddball of an armor idea... wearing the flesh of your enemies as armor? disgusting yes.

What if it would be only the skin?
That's not a new idea, by the way.
In the greek myth on Herakles (or Hercules) the first task of 12 for him is to kill a lion whose skin is impenetrable to weapons. Herakles wrestled and choked him to death and made an armor out of the skin (smart thinking, because the first is always the easiest task).
Don't ask me how he got the skin of of the lion though, when cutting it down is not really an option.

How many anthropomorphic rabbits/wolves/whatever do you know that are mythical beings with impenetrable skin?

I just thought about it for a short while (my brain either works slowly and gets nothing done, or unbelievably fast and gets all kinds of ideas crammed in my head at once and it seems like it should not be able to say things that fast.) and I don't think the rabbits would actually use metal armor. I kind of imagine the Dogs and Cats using metal armor (with the cats wearing big flashy ornate stuff) while the rabbits would wear padded leather stuff.
But then Turner still might wear metal armor, since I kind of imagine him mixing traditions from the other races to create his own fighting style. So provided he could find a set that fit him... (it would be very uncomfortable unless someone made a set of metal armor just for him, though for the sake of gameplay you could ignore that and just make every set of armor fit him.)

Rabbits wearing the skins of their vanguished enemies (i.e. leather)? Bones has the same problems.
Some kind of silk-thread armor (different from fine silk) might fit them better, or they could use some kind of wooden/bamboo armor.
