i have figured out a way to massively increase the fanbase of overgrowth

simply when the character models are added to overgrowth, code it so the mouth opens and closes with the mousewheel (or other buttons)

doesnt effect gameplay

and opens up overgrowth to the machinima community

Or people could just do that using some sort of in-game video maker thing?

Or if you -really- want to be fancy do what LittleBIGPlanet did with the lip-synching sackboys... but that probably wouldn't happen =p

My bet would be on some sort of movie creator.

Actually, what LBP did was fairly simple. It was just based on volume level of the microphone. You could get really fancy and get a program to learn the lip syncing for each word, but that would be a bit much.

Plus, voiced Turner machinima would be kind of creepy.

In most games id would use the mouse wheel to change my weapons.

but when you say "eeeeee" he has his mouth shaped like it, but if you say "aaahhhh" he opens his mouth as if saying it....

Really? That's pretty good then. From what I saw in videos, it seemed to just open and close. Now that you mention it, I do remember an "oooh" shape.

Still, I don't think it's necessary for OG.

I know it's not necessary for OG, I'm just saying it would be cool for machinima... but a mouth poser sort of thing would work as well =P
