Forget that myth. I have Photoshop and still use GIMP. The only downside to GIMP is that it doesn't do vectors, which isn't an issue here. Quite frankly, I'm surprised anyone buys Photoshop at all.

I was never much good at photoshop either - I prefer paint
It looks okay shrunk down, but who am I to refuse such an offer? BTW - the Avatar is from American McGee's Alice: I'm a cat person, and the Cat from Alice is, like, the coolest side-kick EVER
That game really sucks btw - the setting is great and there are moments of serious psychological skull-****ery, but it is broken as far as gameplay goes. Anyway, here's a link to the image: OMG It's a ****ing Cat!!

Yeah, I played the game once... enjoyed the small part I did, but then sopped playing... can't remember why.
It's a good ol' classic, I say.
Yarr... One bearded freaky low-voiced cat coming up!
EDIT: 'Tis done.
That's quite a close-up, by the way.
Also I noticed my beard pic was not of the quality I hoped it was, meaning you actually already had done quite a neat job there.
This inspired my to attempt touching it up slightly more than usual... I couldn't say for myself if the effect was a plus or minus.
Oh, and the moustache is slightly higher/more noticeable now. I think.
There ya goe.

Okay, folks: JUNE 7 is the official annual BEARD DAY! (creation date of this thread)
Re: The "John's beard" thread!
Ok, this is not super related to john's aweseome beard, but it's proof that john is really a clever photoshop trick by the rosen brothers.
