The beard *is* proud of his efforts. The beard isn't dead, it's waiting....

I would express my condolences over the loss of the beard but they would be lies.

This, of course, puts me in a prime position as top beard in the playground. Some have even suggested I engineered this whole event, to which I say; no, that doesn't even make sense.
