What exactly do you mean, like a color-blind mode? Or like, it would adjust to your monitor?

in layman's terms, colour correction is the addition and subtraction of colours to make graphics look attractive by keeping a relatively small, fitting palette on screen at any given time so as to not make a scene look busy and thrown together.
It's a form of post processing that more and more developers are using at the moment, but if textures are managed and coloured well in overgrowth, it wouldn't make a huge difference to the look of the game.

I would assume there would be the ability to have it, however I don't know what use they'd have with it in this game.
it's slightly annoying to watch movies that look brown all the time, and if you notice lots of realistical games coming out are all grey and brown... Obviously Overgrowth shouldn't be like that =P

I'd rather that OG be more whimsical and colorful. Too many games nowadays are using a washed-out color scheme to make it "realistic".

Anyone remember that blog post?
"Hey nature, your shaders are way too green"?
I lol'd at that.
Washed-out colouring is far from realism.

We can do color correction as a
post-processing effect, but I would rather just get the colors right in the textures to begin with! Post-processing effects usually result in decreased color precision and fidelity.

I think that in one of the previous blog posts demonstrating hotspots it showed color correction when Turner Rabbot was doing a race. I could be mistaken. So it could be scripted in, perhaps, if you wanted to give your custom campaign a sepiatone look for some reason...
Also, the textures/decals I've seen so far look good so I don't think that would be a problem =)

Hi,
colour correction is the addition and subtraction of colours to make graphics look attractive and keeping a relatively small.
It wouldn't make a huge difference to look of the game.
Then in overgrowth colour correction can change image attractively...
