Update: Edited OP to include holding down "G" while firing.

Also, I talked to John on the Live Chat about this topic, he'll try to get something done about the sticky issue ;)

Hi. I've been playing with this, but I have not managed to play two different missions in a row. What happens instead is, if I set the number of missions to x, the first custom mission just loops x times. Perhaps I'm not putting the "Number of missions" in the right place, though I've tried putting it just at the beginning of customlevels.txt and at the beginning of each level description. Here's my customlevels.txt:

Code: Select all

Number of missions:
2
Level type:
0
Environment:
0
How many different guns can assassins have:
1
List them:
5
One out of how many civilians is an assassin:
3
Starting gun:
3
How many magazines/grenades:
3
Time requirement:
5
Difficulty:
1
Number of missions:
2
Level type:
1
Environment:
4
How many different guns can assassins have:
1
List them:
5
One out of how many civilians is an assassin:
3
Starting gun:
3
How many magazines/grenades:
3
Time requirement:
5
Difficulty:
1
The two levels are drastically different, so I would notice if it was working.

Zort: I think it may be because you have "Number of missions" twice. Try this;

Code: Select all

Number of missions:
2
Level type:
0
Environment:
0
How many different guns can assassins have:
1
List them:
5
One out of how many civilians is an assassin:
3
Starting gun:
3
How many magazines/grenades:
3
Time requirement:
5
Difficulty:
1

Level type:
1
Environment:
4
How many different guns can assassins have:
1
List them:
5
One out of how many civilians is an assassin:
3
Starting gun:
3
How many magazines/grenades:
3
Time requirement:
5
Difficulty:
1
I think that will work, but I can't test it. Sorry for my abysmal response speed- I don't have my computer right now, and I'm posting this from a public computer (which is why I can't test my solution :P)

Endorgan: Oh, I see what you did there.

Thanks, it works! Apparently you have to have a blank line between level descriptions.

Hrng. I mentioned this thread to John like twice and both times he was like "Great job a++", but I guess he has the attention span of a squirrel or something because this still isn't stickied :<

UPDATE - Nerfed some of the custom levels after I realized just how long five minutes really is :P (I was running out of ammo about 90 seconds into Classic Zombie Survival!) Enjoy. And no, this is not a post disguised as an announcement for an extraordinarily minor update that only really serves to bump this thread up to the top of the forum.

EDIT2 - Added four new levels to the OP. I'll be adding more periodically and eventually I'll wrap them all up into one .txt file that you can download and use at leisure. Later, I might make a campaign with a 'storyline' for you guys to enjoy.
