Basically, if you have control of the records you can re-write the past (history is written by the victor), and if you have complete control of the past, how could you ever be overthrown?

Re: Hello!
And if you control the future, then you can mold anything however you want, and therefore, you can in a way, control the present. No, I have not read 1984 and am pulling stuff out of the air keeping a bunch of random theories together with scotch tape.Wilbefast wrote:Clearly you haven't read 1984![]()

Re: Hello!
Nothing wrong with that - it's not all about quoting long-dead philosopher: better to think for yourself, but then you need some context for your ideas too...

Re: Hello!
What hath given you the impression that I am weighed down by your "bagging"? I am still alive and well and rapidly getting strange looks from the slower-posting members of the forum (Fournine and tokage, to be specific). I fear I shall soon overtake the grand Renegade_Turner and this immense rate of posting (if I do not jolly well get banned first for "spamming.)Assaultman67 wrote:What are you doing!?!?! And I do not think for myself, my untrained monkey wrote this post.

Wrong thread or am I missing something? Probably both but it's always good to ask.Freshbite wrote:"Bears from the wall" - Yeah, and good luck with that.
Re: Hello!
What I mean was that the "Bears from the wall" thread is one of those thresholds.

I shall think of way to make a thread even more annoying than bears on the wall.
I have an idea, how about a thread on the most boring thing eve-- holy crap, he beat me to it.
Re: Hello!
