Idle curosity about somethings once Lugaru 2 is out (if it doesn't get cancled in Beta testing) I was wondering two things:
1) Can we expect a demo? Not to add work but I personaly like having demos so I can decide if the game is worth buying.
2) Is there going to be a box version also this time? with a CD, manual ect?

P.S. Apologies if these questions have been asked before becuase lately I've been a bit lazy about reading the forums. :)

Having just looked at the blog, I'm very impressed. Some of the screenshots look great. But I'm more interested in what kinds of features it will have, I'm hoping for more combat moves, different reverals, and maybe making that spinning Taekwondo kick less prevalent.

I'm concerned with what the system requirements are going to be, too- pretty pictures dont mean anything if I can't play it on my computer. I'm running a Toshiba Satellite A75-S209 with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 (128mb).

Lugaru's great, though, and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

It would be pretty sweet to have the alpha wolf come back, rerendered in all the glory a mighty animal deserves. Something about the image of a massive wolf in black armor with cold eyes and bloody paws facing against a rabbit with a spear in one hand sends shivers of delight up and down my spine.

The Phoenix engine encapsules graphical and procedural tasks that commonly occur in games by Wolfire Software.
For example, if you want to simulate rain in several games, you code an engine that simulates rain and provides a graphical representation of it. Then, you write a game and use this engine.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_engine for in-depth info and nice links.

If you want to check out the features of the Phoenix engine that have been implemented, check out http://blog.wolfire.com

For discussion threads in this very forum concerning Phoenix features, search this forum for keyword "Phoenix" by author "David" in all forums.
