I recall Jeff or David saying that beta is only going to be for actual programmers. I dont know about the details 100%, but don't get your hopes up.

it's a sad world when people think that star wars characters are real...

Well, I am a programmer. Not for Wolfire Software, is that necessary?

I was mainly joking hdlsa, I have only been in one beta test before, I am too much of a loser for me to get in the L2 beta test, but I can hope can't I?
:)

Hey there. First time poster, long time player... Or something like that :D Love the original and would kill to beta test number 2 (no, really ). My PC:

OS: Windows XP
Processor: Pentium 4 2.4GHz
Graphics Card: Radeon 9700 Pro
Memory: DDR 333 512mb (I'll be investing in another 512mb stick in the near future, cranking it up to a gig of ram)

Oh, and if it's still relevant, I've had mod experience before, creating a mod for Half Life 2 based on the RPG, Paranoia, although it never really got off the ground due to mutiny among the ranks :) However, I'm an experienced mapper, and tried my hand at moddelling (although probably not good enough for a project) and am an entusiastic writer!

Anyway, it's probably too late for all that sort of thing, but failing all else I'd be more than happy to beta test for you.

Keep up the great work!

Regards,
Xai

Why would it be too late?

Well, I'm not sure how much progress has been made with the project yet.

Considering the threads in this forum regarding progress, the engine is still in development. So it's too early, I'd say.

Yeah, I don't even think it is in alpha yet. :|

Pre-Pre-Alpha, I'd say. ;) (maybe we get a sneak-preview or tech-demo some time? 8)

(and if I ever would have the chance to become one, I'd also gladly become a beta tester ;D (yes, all this is probably annoying, eh?))

Yeah, if it was too late for the beta test, that would be awesome!

not really...

I'd prefer a good, finnished product...
I'd also like to be able to sign up any time, untill the (second) last beta release...

i reckon there have to be ninjas....
and you could become a ninja at a later stage in the game.
and some sort of king of the wolves.... you know, like more skilled dudes... bosses... and you need buddies that can help you out who are ninjas...
and rats... you could be friends with rats..

or.... humans invade the island... and the wolves and rabbits are forced to team up against them... but their alliance is unstable..
wow, thats good.
