It's Lugaru 2, of course there will be!

Like say armor or clothing?
Like a long leather trenchcoat?

The terrain in Lugaru 1 is editable. There is a heightmap file that you can edit.

Yes, but what's the point in that? You'd have to switch the maps every time you wanted to play a different level.

Yeah, I'm just mentioning that it can be done... Changing the models, textures and such isn't really practical either but it is still fun. Changing the heightmap is probably the easiest "mod" and is very rewarding.

Everyone has such high standards for a sequel to Lugaru.
Honestly, David, if you make it the exact same but with more levels and maybe one new race, i will think it's awesome. Yes, nicer graphics would be nice, but they truly do distract from gameplay. I love how the first one was made, and i only hope that the sequel turns out as well.
So... i'm still waiting for an update on your new engine!

For one thing, I don't expect lugaru 2 to come out in 6 mouths. I strongly think it will be released in 2 years.

My guess is in about a year, maybe a bit more. Don't quote me on it though

I'm not going to quote you on this one. Afterall no one outside of the wolfire staff knows when it will come out.

Does wolfire technically have a staff? I thought it was just David, but that's probably just me.
