Lol. I've never heard of any of them.
Why do I suddenly feel so uneducated?

Yeah we got To Kill a Mockingbird way back in seventh grade never heard of Silas Marner. As to Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow they're not really just for young people, and it's always pissed me off a little bit when teenagers like them, even more so when they've never read Speaker for the Dead or Xenocide.

Whoa now, I read the entire Ender saga in 7th-8th grade, and liked all of it. Why does it piss you off when teenagers liked the books? Is it because they only read them because they think Ender is "Cool"? If that's the case, then I agree with you. The books are more psychology pieces than character works, and most people who read the books do not understand that.

Dunno. Sounds like youth fiction. Just because a couple adults watch Pokemon doesn't mean it's not a kid's show. Ender's Game even has a film and a video game. That doesn't happen unless it's of interest to the youth generation. Most profitable. Sorry to make you realise this about your much-loved book series.

I have read a few of the Ender books.

They are not intended for children.

It might be of interest to the youth generation, but that fact alone does not nullify the large amount of content in the Ender books that teenagers will not understand. Most teenagers read the books because they think the Battleroom is cool, or that the main character is cool because he killed two people before he was nine. Below the surface is a very large moral dilemma and a hell of a lot of intelligent psychological conversation and debate between the characters, and within them as well.
Try not to insult a book series you haven't even read.

[JOKING]Besides, To Kill a Mockingbird sucked. Never in that book was I told how, exactly, to kill a mockingbird[/JOKING]

Coincidentally, I read the entire saga this summer, and I'm 15.....Does that piss you off?

I tried to read it, but grew largely bored. Even slow books like The Road by Cormac McCarthy was a more intense and interesting read. Your beloved book series isn't as psychologically intelligent as you think.

Not if you don't run around being a snide little bastard verbally discussing it's themes basically with yourself and liking it for only one aspect of itself.

He guessed wrong when I tried parker from the red faction series ... but he eventually got it on the 24th question ...

But the others i could think of just made me "FFFUUUUUUU"

but yea, its workings are simple ... its basically using a big database of questions with answers already for them ... and then simply eliminates them untill it finds one ...

There is probably a "frequency" factor that determines who youre thinking of as well

apparently he couldn't get the "Humping robot" from robot chicken easily :P

The Road isn't exactly a slow read. The events are intense and exciting.

Anyways, I see that you'll never come around to anyone's way of thinking than your own, so I'm just going to stop pressing the argument.

The Road isn't a slow read. If you don't think that The Road is a slow read I'd hate to see what you actually think is a slow read. You probably thought the first 30 pages of LOTR when Bilbo Baggins just wouldn't fuck off were riveting too.

Anyway, simply because I disagree with you doesn't mean you have to start acting so juvenile and going "You're simply not agreeing with me because you're stubborn." Don't be so arrogant, everyone who disagrees with you isn't stubborn.

Everyone who disagrees with me, however, is undoubtedly stupid.

On the whole, I agree with you. The last line of mine was unneeded. I'm sorry.
However, I would really like it if you would stop trying to further the argument.

That's fair enough, I acknowledge that we have differing opinions and respect the fact that you've acknowledged that people's opinions will differ and that most people are quite stubborn about that.
