HIB #2 on Desura?

Post by Silverfish » Sat Dec 18, 2010 8:41 am

I would like to point out that the four latest games added for purchase on Desura (which by the way is in open beta now) are Machinarium, Revenge of the Titans, Braid and Osmos.

That is all.

Funny how it looks just like Steam.

Well, if you gotta steal a user interface, might as well steal what's popular...

Hey,

My Name is Mark (Lead developer of Desura), our interface was designed before steam came out with its redesign (just they went public with it before us) and yes, thanks to jeff and john at wolfire, The humble indie bundle 2 is coming to Desura.

We hope to be releasing it today.

Mark

I really hope this is true! I am very excited about Desura! …but still have to wait for a Mac client :( (I see all the games are available on Desura now)

You're right... I counted wrong... When I was looking, I saw four games below, and an add at the top, and my mind didn't realize it was the same game in two places.

Curious that he made an account just to post here. Maybe he's just a fanboy or maybe he's the real lead dev of desura. I guess we will never know.

Well he's got the same nick and he's saying true things, so there's no reason to believe he's not the real Lodle.

I'm pretty sure he was the real guy. And I'm glad that everything he said was true! It's great that he is being proactive on other forums. I hope we see more of Mark/Lodle on the site :)
