Nevertheless, I think you should encourage anyone with the power to accept/deny a post, to fill out the form, saying why you declined the post.

I also think so.
wow, "skyline1241" appears to be a spam bot.

Feel free to browse his profile to see the evidence.

If they were getting smarter they would have stopped posting here entirely, what with their threads and posts being blocked until someone can check them.

Indeed I am! There's nothing better than being technically correct: the best kind of correct.

Edit: could the admin ban user Hororoyasty? I've lost track of how many spam threads he tried to start.

I can't really ban him without a reason, and from what I see, there is none.
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't trust you. I just lack proof.

We can't really backtrack the Forum to see what it was that he posted. If you see another thread by him, just let it slide for the moment and perhaps we in the moderator team can catch him and silence him for good.

In theory you CAN see what he's tried to spam. Look in the moderator logs for his name and "disapproved" next to it. The post's subject should be there too which should provide all you need.

Incorrect. The name of the account who's post was disapproved isn't logged, thus, we cannot ban anyone based on that.

We've requested quite a few times if some changes could be made so that we can actually do that, but until now, there's no way of seeing how much disapproved posts a user has or anything like that.

I just found and disapproved a few spampost from Hororoyasty, so now he's banned too.

hmmm... could have sworn those names were on there but you are right. Yeah the logging thing definitely needs to include usernames.

If I can, I'll try to remember to copy each post like this(these are real copies you should ban the users) when I disaprove.

Could you include these in the comments when you disapprove a post? That way this thread doesn't get cluttered with spam, and also the spammers message won't become visible to public.

Wouldn't it work to just add the username to the comments when you disapprove them? It would then be pretty easy to see if a user is a repeat offender, and ban them... (I really like this idea Black...)

Yes, I am copying their title and user name and pasting them into the reason box.

The reason I posted those here is because I had already disapproved their posts and could not add a reason anymore.
