Question before I preorder Overgrowth

Okay so in exactly one month it will be my birthday. I will preorder overgrowth atleast a week or two before that so I have one question... When will overgrowth be optimized for non-gaming computers. When I say non-gaming I mean computers that do not meet todays PC requirements like crisis or gta4. My computer can handle it now but I am sure I will get tons of lag.

At the moment, the developers are trying to focus on the core-features of the game. Combat was recently put into action, and since then, development has only gone forwards.
Optimizing the game for low-end computers is not as such a high priority for them as the features, but they have done things to improve the performance, like using Imposters. We're expecting some bigger changes to be implemented in the future, but they try to get the actual game finished first.
