I accidentally destroyed the wolfire.net server. I will fix everything when I get home today. (I am in Sierra City).

accidentally + destroyed = 25% evil (accident is a stronger argument imo)

( Evil Chris adds: He dislikes Macs, and loves(?) PCs + 25% evil = 1000% evil)

No one has ever done this before.

That's why it's going to work.

This looks so cool, and the fixed gif looks much better. I think what might help it is this; the AI is not predicting were the center of gravity (COG) will be (like with a real person). Obviously in real life a person knows were he is going to go before he goes there and the computer can't read your mind, but I bet you could get a pretty good result if instead of checking the actual COG you checked a predicted COG and added some inertia so that the players movement couldn't be as eratic.

well, obviously. The characters aren't trying to get anywhere yet, they're having fun trying out their bounds. besides, David's only half a year into this.

The AI actually does predict the COG now, this is a really old animation. We are not half a year into this, more like a month or two.

That's pretty amazing and such a cool idea. Physics is the way to go to achieve perfect animations.
