Dynamic Music

Is Overgrowth going to include any kind of dynamic music system? I ask for two reasons. Firstly - it's something that I think adds a lot of atmosphere to games and would be excellent for Overgrowth. Secondly - I'm doing my second year of Sound Production at college and for my graded unit I've decided to do a project involving foley and/ or dynamic music for video games. I have no programming knowledge myself and it would be ideal if I could simply implement my music into a game with a dynamic music system. Would it be possible for me to do this with Overgrowth?

Overgrowth will at least support fading between different tracks and other such features, but I don't know if we'll have any really fancy dynamic music tech. However if you want to experiment with sound and music without coding then you could do worse than FMOD designer.

Thanks, that's perfect. Just found a tutorial on youtube for using layered dynamic music with Fmod and it seems to be just what I'm looking for.

Unfortunately he hasn't updated his blog in a year, but Rich Douglas was doing an interesting blog on gaming music, and talks about dynamic music (to a point), and shows some interesting ways to make it work.
