Lugaru 2 12-25-05 Turner concept

Post by David » Sun Dec 25, 2005 3:24 am

In Lugaru 2 we are planning to implement a very modular armor system, where you could for example put on leather armor and then add metal plates to the front, or strap a blade to your foot for extra damage.

Turner is going to look pretty much the same as in the original, in terms of proportions and fur patterning, but he will have much more defined anatomy and much more high-detail fur.

Is armor going to affect movement speed?

Whoa! Nice concept art! Is that really what Turner is going to look like? It seems a bit different from the first game.

Well, i suppose we could always put on metal shards for his ears! :-D

Looking great David. Will he have the sheath on his belt, or will a sword occupy both hands to use?

Armor will effect movement speed, and you will be able to put the scabbard on your belt. It would be a bit silly to always run around holding your sheathed sword!

I credited him in the previous concept art post, but again, all of the concept drawings for Lugaru 2 that you have seen are by Aubrey Serr.

Engages sneakyevilinfocollectionmode.
Me Googled and found no site. Some other stuff though:

1 Match from Oklahoma Daily Online Edition:
"Transmission" director and economics senior Aubrey Serr applies make-up to one
of The zombie actors in Couch Center on Saturday."

2 Some anglefire page (www.angelfire.com/band2/untitled12/):
"Cake compliments of Aubrey Serr."
Look at it, pictures of some bloody cake.

3 Forum profile on conceptart.org :P http://www.conceptart.org/forums/member.php?u=4795
He seems to have the nickname "Ninjas"

4 Polycount!
"All other skins are by Ninjas ([email protected]) : Aubrey "Ninjas" Serr.
I hope you enjoy these skins to improve your gaming experience."

Thats all I found.

That is some tight concept art!
Hopefully the game will look like it eventually.

he does have a small website.
on the off-chance he doesn't want it made public, i'll be safe and have you PM him through the forum if you want to ask to see his stuff.

please note any lugaru2 stuff will be covered by our NDA and, as such, he won't be able to show it without david's/the team's consent.
