Okay, I just downloaded SOS. Very good, more proof David is awesome.
Two problems however, I found out that you need to switch maps manualy in OS X, I tried that and it didn't work. I opened the chat and typed 'map map2' nothing happened.
Second problem is that in the readme it said 'press h or r to repair' tried that, it didn't work. Was it a feature that wasn't put in before the project was cancled?
I'm running it on an Intel iMac.

The game was never finished, thats just the way it is. Because no campaign was made, you do indeed have to switch maps manually. I believe that the repair function was made automatic.

Okay, I know there's no campaign, but when I try to switch manualy it doesn't work.

Thank you. I was being stupid, I kept entering the command into the chat instead of the console.

Nice find

I bet -- though I can't be sure, since my parents don't let me play any videogames EVER, so I always have my comp muted so they can't hear -- that you'll also hear that sound when you shoot the eagle on the first level.
As for repair, it appears that you work almost exactly like the other robots do. Shots to the body hurt you but don't otherwise slow you down, while shots to the arms and legs disable those parts of you. (Headshots don't seem to one-hit kill you, though.) You automatically lose a repair charge, therefore, when you're hit in the body. If you're hit anywhere else, though, you're temporarily disabled there but you don't have to use a repair charge until you press R or H. So, for example, when I was shot and didn't lose a repair charge, and yet seemed to be moving around just fine, I realized that I must've been hit in my left arm and so didn't waste a repair charge. I just finished the level. Later, I was shot and didn't lose a repair charge, but I realized that I was walking much slower, so I pressed R and repaired my leg, losing a repair charge but moving quickly enough to dodge the next few shots headed my way. So far, no one's disabled my gun hand, but I'm willing to bet that can happen too.
Damn, these guys are good shots! v_V When you're REALLY REALLY REALLY far away, like on map2, you can easily take 'em out if you have something behind which you can hide or just by jumping around a lot, but if you're anywhere close at all, you need a miracle.

I'm 16, and, aside from their being retarded, no particular reason.
