I really missed out? How so? I am content playing games offline on the whole. I have PS2 Online for a bit of fun sometimes, but it wears thin after a few games on most occasions. Also, I edited my last post to explain more of what I had to say. Half Life 2 offline is better than any online game I've ever played. By the way, I have played Halo 2 online at my brothers, and I say Half Life 2 is better any day.

I never said Halo 2 was better than Half-Life. Anyways, let get back on topic.

I don't think anyone has to worry too much about whether Lugaru 2 will focus enough on the things that made the original good. Everyone on the dev team is well aware that Lugaru is an awesome game, and that the core game mechanics don't really need any fixing.

Just thought I could reiterate the point, but it's nice to know that you have it in mind.

Well, it was back on topic, because Ninjas and I had just referred to Lugaru 2's development, and now you've brought it back off topic again. :P

Hey, what happened to the blog? Did you guys just get sick of making posts in it, or has there only been progression in a lot of minor things, or is there some big part of the game that's taking a while to get any progress worth mentioning to? Not complaining, just curious to what could stop you guys from posting for so long.

I edited the post with a new question, but it doesn't seem to have gone to the top of the list. Just letting you guys know about it.

There hasn't been a lot of noteworthy progress. David is working on a contract job right now.

All I can think of right now is that David made a non-procedural animation editor to make cut scenes and minor animations. He also made some combat animations.

Does the contract job involve game development? :)

It is a top-secret Freeverse project, but I am still working on L2 at the same time.

Sweet! Some of my 3D models have finally seen the light of day! Looking good, I think.
