Where do i use my alpha key?

I pre-ordered and got my key for the alpha but i dont know where to use it, sorry if this sounds dumb

In the Secret Preorder Forum, one of the sticky threads in the top has links to the downloads. After following the link, you see a page which asks for your alpha key.

Uhm... I have a related problem: I can't get in to the pre-order forum, even though I have pre-ordered. I really need help...

Did you make sure to type your forum name in the appropriate field when you pre-ordered? You'll know it works because the 'preorder' banner appears under your name when it does.
