I am not good with the map maker, and I think this is better this way anyway

Part 1- Old friends

A wolf is walking along a desert, looking for shelter. This wolf is slightley taller than most wolves, and covered in cuts, most of which are from wolf claws, this wolf is the past alpha wolf who was rejected by his fellow wolves after he starting practicing rabbit martial arts by studying one of the prisoners. His ears perk up, his eyes widen. "Who is there?" No answer "Show yourself!" Still no answer, the wolf sniffed the air to see who it was, there was the familiar smell of smoke and ash, and the smell of another wolf, "Ackrilox?" "It took you awhile there Invertin, have you lost your nose? Or are you just ignoring me again?" the wolf growled "Ackrilox, leave, or -"
"Or what? If you attack me you will break the code and you will not last a second out here."
"I am seperate from the pack ackrilox, I no longer follow or answer to the code."
"Good, neither do I!" A black wolf with one grey eye and one red eye jumps out from a cave and attacks Invertin, <Imagine big fight, Ackrilox is the strongest and wins in the end> "Ackrilox.....You can't..You can't kill me even....Even without the code...."
"No, you are right it don't want your pathetic blood on my claws, I think I'll let the desert have this kill..."

Part 2- Predator and Prey

"Is he okay?"
"How should I know? I still say we leave him for the birds"
"Come on, we can help him while he sleeps and leave him when he-"
"Grrr"
2 rabbits were stood over invertin, he had just woken up, it was dawn. "YOu see now he's going to kill us! I told you we should have left him, but nooo you just had to help-"
"You 2 helped me?" The first rabbit stood forwards "Yes, Choco was hesitant but I couldn't leave anyone to die, even a wolf."
"What about Otter?"
The first rabbit looked shocked, then sad, then he sighed and changed the subject "We've got to introduce our-"
"This is a wolf, he is going to eat us or take us to his pack-"
"My pack has abandoned me, and you have helped me, I do feel better, so I will not eat you, for now"
"Well, In that case you can-"
"He's lieing, wolved and rabbits are never friends, I still say we leave,"
'Choco' walks away
"Well I'm vanilla, and you?"
"Invertin, you friend doesn't trust easily does he?"
"No not really-"
Invertin grabs vanilla and stabs him in the back with his claw
"Wha-"
"Sorry vanilla, but that is nature."

To be continued (Sorry for killing vanilla but I really could not imagine a wolf and a rabbit traveling together, Choco will be back later though)

Part- 3 Illusions of victory

"Invertin..."
"Wha-?"
"Go to sleep Invertin.."
"No, I'm not tired,"
"Invertin! Don't listen to it, you must run,"
"No I must stay!"
"Invertin, Sleep invertin..."
"No..... I can't....."
"Sleep......just, like, FATHER!"
"AAHH!"
Invertin awakens from a nightmare, it is night but the sun is about to rise.
"Just a dre-"
The body of vanilla (Whats left of it anyway) is moving
"what the?"
A vulture pokes its head over the top of the body with a bit of rabbit meat in its mouth.
"HEY! Thats MY food!"
Invertin grabs the poor bird by the tail and throws it.
"Argh, it took most of the torso while I was sleeping, I'll need more food if I'm going to survive for long."
Invertin gets up looks at the sunrise and looks down at his feet.
"What does it matter? I've been banished from the wolf pack and the rabbits won't trust me."
A tear runs down Invertins nose
"I have nothing left"
"Don't worry invertin.. I'll always be here to help"
"What the? No, I'm just dreaming again."
"Oh if this was a dream would you feel the sand around you?"
"But, your not real! Your just a voice!"
"Oh I'm very real, I am you right hand wolf! Don't you remember you still are the alpha wolf, you just went on a hunting trip.."
A pink wolf appears next to Invertin
"No, I was banished days ago.. I must be losing it..."
"She is your right hand wolf, this is your spirit world, I am your common sence,you wisdom, you courage and your leadership. she is your fear, your loss, your lies and your anger, she is your dark side, the part that makes you a wolf"
A blue wolf appears on the other side of Invertin
"What is happening?"
"You are being lied to Alpha wolf Invertin, this wolf wants to make you think your a hermit, a wanderer, he wants you powerless so he can take your place."
"Being alpha wolf isn't a good thing, people don't want it but when they get it they hold on for dear life. Being alpha wolf is a job, not a privelige"
"You see? Just make your choice, Illusions of victory, or incoming victory."
"Incoming victory?"
"He lies again, although he is right about incoming victory, the rabbits cannot stand to your might, you must go to rocky ridge and kill them all"
"No you must go to find what your purpose is, keep away form the rabbits, for they will run and hide, and keep away from the wolves for they shall kill you"
"I agree with my wisdom, I should search for my purpose"
Both blue and pink wolves dissapear.
"I don't think you'll be seeing us again"
Oh don't worry, you will...you will...

Part 4- The replacement

Invertin is walking north, it is midday and the desert is ending slowely
"It seemed alot shorter the other way."
"Leave"
"What?"
"Leave now, You are banished from wolf lands"
"I wish to see the alpha wolf"
"You are banished leave now"
"No."
Five wolves jumped out from behind trees and attack, (Note- this time I have an actuall fight scene!) 1 of the wolves pounces at him and anoter charges at him head first, Invertin ducks under the pouncing wolf, gets up, grabbing the pouncing wolf in the process and throws him at the other wolf. The other 3 wolves attack from all sides, Invertin ducks and leg sweeps them so they all head-butt eachother.
"Is that it?"
"........No,"
9 wolves jump out from the treetops
"This is it."
Invertin goes into a combat stance and looks at the wolves, seeing his chances. In the end he raises his hands, knowing he would be taken to the alpha wolf anyway.
Later...
Invertin was being dragged across the floor with his arms tied to see the alpha wolf.
"You!"
Ackrilox was there, he was the head guard!
"What do you want Invertin? I have the whole pack and you want it back? I am the alpha wolf now!"
Invertin looked up at the alpha wolf to see a fat wolf, who even at his size had slaves bringing him food.
"This is the alpha wolf? I thought it was an giant hairy watermelon!"
Invertin got a clawed face for that one
"Well even in your exile yo have kept you sence of humour, although you are right, a hunt will do my body some good, the wolves never see me, I stay in my house all day and night looking after the pack, if I come out I use a secret exit, and if anyone wants to see me they are taken to my head guard... Invertin looked at Ackrilox and growled.
"I may not be the alpha wolf, and I accept you are more powerful right now, but could I atleast come back into the pack?"
"Oh no.. You have seen me as who I really am and if anyone found out I wouldn't be feared, and fear is my only political tool, Execute him! Make it public! They will fear me more if I have the power to kill the ex-alpha wolf!"
Invertin could only stare in shock as they took him away.
"This isn't how I am supposed to die...."

Part- 5 The secret keepers

"I don't die today"
"What the!?"
"Whats with his voice?"
"And why does he keep repeating that!?"
"This isn't the day I die I will live through this night, I will not die"
Suddenly there is a bright light and when it fades, the guards are unconscious and the ropes holding invertin are gone.
"I have to tell the pack, this alpha wolf is a fraud-"
"You aren't going anywhere, brother"
Invertin sniffed the air, he smelled the smoke and ashes of
"Ackrilox..."
Ackrilox pulls out some red gloves, puts them on, then goes into a wolf combat stace
"I've been wanting to do this since dad died,"
Ackrilox does a round house kick but invertin grabs his foot, Ackrilox spins his leg and kicks Invertin with his other foot, Invertin drops Ackrilox's foot and gets into a rabbit combat stance. Invertin jumps, flips then kicks Ackrilox in the head, knocking him over.
"You've learned some new moves! So have I!" Ackrilox runs at invertin and tries to pounce on him, Invertin ducks under him but gets kicked in the face while Ackrilox is still in mid pounce. "Here's one move no rabbit has used against wolves, Invertin runs at Ackrilox, jumps and lifts his feet.... It is the famous rabbit kick, Ackrilox has never seen a rabbit kick and is knocked back and smashes into the wall.
"That is for the life you've given me"
Invertin runs outside.
Suddenly Invertin stops, look of alarm is on his face, he grabs something on the back of his neck, when he opens his hand he sees it was a dart. He then collapses on the floor as 4 wolves in ninja robes appear to take him away....

Part 6- Reunions

"Wha-? Where am I?"
Invertin was tied to a chair, a light was swinging back and forwards like a pendulem. And a voice was talking from afar
"You are safe here"
"What? No I was about to be execu-"
"You will be a great guard"
"No I wont, I will never defend that overstuffed chicken!"
"You are a great guard"
"I..No I am not
"Everything is safe here"
"Yes..Everything is safe...Wai.. NO!!"
Invertin struggles but something is happening, the chair is sucking him in!
"What the?"
"Everything will be fine"
"No...I..Fine...."
"You are a great guard"
"I am a great guard"
"You defend the alpha wolf"
"I defend the alpha wolf"
"You serve under Ackrilox"
Suddenly Invertin stopped
"NO!"
Invertin kicked the light and was then sucked in completely by the chair He ended up in the dungeon again..
"Then handle the execution yourself"
Invertin sat on the cold stone floor, a little confused.
"Your mind is wandering again old friend"
Invertin looked up and growled expecting Ackrilox, But instead he saw a rabbit, with a black robe, he knew who it was at once
"Tiergan?"
"Tell me, what answers do you seek?"
"I wish to find my purpose"
"Nobody in this world has one specific purpose, the great rabbit Turner's 'purpose' was to stop the wolves, yet here we are in their biggest town yet. But I will help you find what you want, not want the wolf inside wants."
"Always talking in riddles Tiergan, what do you mean?"
"I mean that soon you will have a home again, and you may meet some of your old followers, your true followers."
"How do I get out of here though? There is over 20 wolves guarding this place and I can't even take on more than-"
The door creaked open and 2 unconscious guards fell in
"I almost forgot you could fight, lets go"
"First there is another reunion you must have."
"With who?"
"Your father.."

I can't be bothered to do a story today, so a cast list instead!

Cast
Invertin- Ex-alpha wolf, knows rabbit martial arts and is one of the best fighters in the wolf pack (not including the alpha wolf turner faced)
Ackrilox- The head guard, pure evil and blind in one eye, (Which is why one eye was grey) he does nothing unless he can gain from it. He killed his own father! why he is guarding the Alpha wolf is unknown.
Vanilla- A kind rabbit, looks after anyone he can, including a wolf. Now deceased
Choco- Hates wolves and has good reason, he was a friend of Turner before the events of Lugaru. joined the chainsaw cult and had his hand replaced with a chainsaw. Now deceased
Enicrop- The alpha wolf, is fat and spoiled. (Enicrop is Porcine backwards)
Tiergan- The prisoner that Invertin studied, they became friends.He wears black robes that cover all but the bottom of his face and his ears, he only uses his hearing to tell what is around him as he his old and blind. Was punished and banished by the chainsaw cult
Lobo- Invertins father, the ex-alpha wolf, killed by Cresent and Ackrilox. Now deceased
Cresent- Lobo's wife, for unknown reasons Invertin hated her even before he found out she killed his father. Now deceased
Wisdom- Is the voice inside everyones head that tells them to do right and help people, in Invertins mind he is a blue male wolf.
Lies- Is the other voice in our heads that tells us to kill and rob, Invertins takes the form of a female pink wolf, in 'honor' of his mother.
Vixen- A young female fox, even tough she is a teenager in fox time, she acts like she is 5, impatient, playful and fussy when things don't go her way. She is extremely skilled with knifes and can catch them too!

This will be updated to fit the new characters and for information I will reveal later.

Very nice! It makes me want to write a Lugaru chronicle myself sometime!

Same. I think the Chainsaw Cult idea Would be better as a Fan Fic than a campaign in Lugaru.

Also *speech in here* means thinking and is wisdom's and lies'es way of talking

Part- 7 The Alpha grave

"What? My father? But, Lobo is dead!"
"Follow me, I will show you what I mean"
*What does he mean?*
*Well of course he is lieing, he's a rabbit! No rabbit would help a wolf*
*Be quiet, I've known him for a while, he wouldn't lie to me, I can make my own choices and I know what is going on*
*But how can you meet a dead wolf?*
*Ok, that I don't know*
"We are here"
Tiergan was stood infront of a large stone door, it had a keyhole
"Tiergan, it's locked we can't-"
Tiergan pulled something out of his robe and put it in the keyhole, it opened! Invertin looked to see what it was but Tiergan was too quick.
"You want to see what I keep in my pockets?"
"Um..Well.."
"Don't worry, curiosity is normal for a wood creature"
"I am a snow wolf!"
"Of course you are."
Tiergan smirked and walked on. They were in an underground cave, most of it was caved in. Tiergan was walking staight into a rock and he was really close now
"Tiergan wait!"
Tiergan stopped and turned around and said
"I may be blind But my hearing is to good to not hear our voices echoed in this cave, I can hear my enviroment. Oh and a rock is about to fall on you"
Invertin looked up and jumped out of the way of the falling rock.
"How did you? What did you?"
"My eyes may have stopped working since we last met, but my ears are better than ever, shall we continue?"
Invertin just looked at Tiergan, shrugged, and moved on
Later...
"Tiergan how long is this cave?"
"We are almost there now"
Invertin looked ahead, he saw some light and a little white lump on the floor
"Tiergan...Is that?"
Tiergan simply walked on. Invertin ran to the lump to see what it was, it was a pile of bones. Invertin just stared at it in shock.
"Here is your father. He is nothing but a pile of bones in a cave and a memory. You will and may mourn for him, but first, what does this cave smell of?"
"....Ashes...And smoke"
"And look at the walls and floor, what do those marks show"
Invertin looked up, there were scratch marks on the walls and floors, and some dry blood on one of the walls.
"A fight"
"And who does this place make you think of"
Invertin looked at the walls, then Tiergan, then the skeleton at his feet. He growled
"Ackrilox"
"Yes and no, who else does this remind you of?"
Invertin was silent, then he looked at Tiergan quickly
"Cresent.... But who was it? And why?"
"It was them both, and it was for birth-rights. As Cresent was married to the Alpha wolf, she was the beta wolf. She hated being second best and so did Ackrilox, they killed your father, thinking Ackrilox would get birth rights as he was older, and then Ackrilox would give Cresent the role of another alpha wolf and together they would be the first alpha wolf pair. Fortunatly it was Lobo's dieing wish that you become alpha wolf as you were the most virtuous."
Invertin stood there for a second.
"I'm going to kill him"
"Invertin no!"
Invertin tried to push Tiergan out of the way but he dodged it and grabbed his arm
"If you kill him, then would your father have been right calling you virtuous?"
Invertin looked at Tiergan, then at the floor, then at the light which looked like an exit
*I know your angry but that is no reason for murder, leave it until fate gets us into a fight*
"Let's go, the wolf camp is waiting."
Tiergan walks away. Invertin stays there for a bit, then turns around and leaves.

Part- 8 Noise of the enemy

"Wait.."
It is a few hours after te events of part7, it is mid-day and they are in the desert. Tiergan stopped and looked (Well, moved his head) around, his ears were perked up
"What is it?"
"I don't know, it sounds like feet, rabbit feet.. And some sort of, buzzing noise..."
"Why can't you just 'hear the enviroment' like in the cave?"
"Because sound bounces off things in the cave there was more to bounce off"
"So what is it?"
"It may be... No, that can't be..."
"What?"
"Do you want to know why I can fight so well?"
"Why?"
"Because I-"
He stopped
"Whatever it is, it is close now. And not many rabbits are going to be happy to see me, or a wolf in the desert"
"Agreed"
They moved on, at a faster pace this time
Later....
"I can't hear it anymore, let's rest"
"Was it following us?"
"No, it was running around nearby, it wasn't looking for us but it would be best not to let it find us"
"Find us? Are you sure it's alive? It was rabbit feet and a buzzing noise, it could have been anything!"
"It was a chainsaw, and a rabbit using it.."
"What? What is a chainsaw?"
"Remember in the wolf history archives there is a section that talks about 'rabbits of hell'?"
"....Yes?"
"The rabbits were ordinary, they had an extremely powerful weapon, the chainsaw... The chainsaw could stop the wolves once and for all, but it was too powerful, it would shatter society for the rabbits, so instead a secret cult was formed, the chainsaw cult.."
"..So that was a chainsaw cultist?"
"Yes, and if it was we should stay away from him, chainsaws can kill a wolf with one blow, and they are hard to steal."
"Wait how do you know all this?"
".....I had done crimes against the chainsaw cult, I attacked a chainsaw cultist, I thought he was a bandit. I was punished then banished from rabbit lands, everyone in rocky ridge thinks I am a dangerous criminal."
"How were you punished?"
"...That is...Personal.."
Suddenly Tiergans ears perked up
"Oh no..."
"What?"
"He is coming this way, I couldn't hear him while talkign we must le-"
Tiergan stopped...
"He heared us"
They looked at eachother, then ran for it
"It's no use Invertin, he's catching up!"
"I'm a wolf! I could outrun any rabbit!"
"We're tired, we can't run as much!"
"Found you!"
Invertin turned around to see..
"Choco?"
The solid brown rabbit was stood there, a buzzing noise was coming from his hand, but it was covered in blood
"Invertin...."
He seemed to be in pain
"And..Tiergan too?... I thought... You were... just a story.. to keep us in line...."
"No, I'm as real as your initiation wound."
Choco looked shocked
"How did you? What did you?... No matter, you boh will die and I will have great honor in the temple!"
Choco charged at Tiergan first, thinking he was old and frail, but Tiergan jumped out of the way, landed on Choco's head (Death from above!) and landed. Choco got up then leg sweeped Tiergan, Tiergan jumped over the sweep and landed on his leg.
"ARRGHH!!"
Choco then lifted his blood-covered hand
"I didn't want to have to do this.."
His hand started moving oddly, the blood on it was being spat around, the buzzing got louder, He charged at Invertin and tried to stab him. Invertin grabbed his hand but it cut him!
"What the?"
Then the blood started to fall off, underneath was a knife but the edges were spinning
"Tiergan is that?"
"Yes, he has a chainsaw"
"Where his hand should be? That seems kind of-"
Invertin stopped talking because Choco started trying to cut his head open with the chainsaw
"This... is for Vanilla!"
Choco then tried to stab Invertin but it stopped inches away... Invertin looked up, and a blade was coming out of Choco's chest.
"N..No..I... must kill... this wo- Uurrgghh"
The blade went away and choco collapsed on the floor. Tiergan was behind him, blooded knife in hand.
"Let's leave.. And hope the chainsaw cult wont bother us again"
"Wait. Couldn't we take the chainsaw?"
"No, he has gone through the ritual, the chainsaw will stay with him, even in death"
Invertin looked at the body, looked at Tiergan, and got some meat off the body before leaving.

Originally, the chainsaw was just going to be a one-off thing, but after that chapter it has become a big part of Tiergan's story. The chainsaw cult will return. I will write the next part later; I can't think of a name yet
