although it could be Mistaken for a BFG 9000.
Should Lugaru ever be a console game?

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be worth it to build the game strictly using the Wii remote. The main reason is that there would be way too many gestures to have to deal with. Also its not immersive enough. One remote would cut the options in half. you can do the same things with the nunchuck that you can with the remote--the main difference is that the nunchuck can't run without the remote.The_Spelunker wrote:Can any of you think of ways to only use the remote to play?
Graphics wise, I think Wii is plenty good enough. Though it would be nice to see Lugaru's visuals on PS3, though I wouldn't dare drop money into one of those systems. Epecially for development as I heard it costs $30000 for the dev package. For the Wii its only $1700 according to Nintendo's dev site www.warioworld.com.
This is totally irrelevant but, check this out you can use the Wii to play games on your computer.

The remote being used by itself makes it more accessible to everyone, and it simplifies it with only one controller even if you have to learn all the controls for it. Don't worry, the tutorial will teach all the controls anyway.rot wrote:I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be worth it to build the game strictly using the Wii remote. Oh no, my dream come true! Wiimote on the computer! Add that to this: www.gamemaker.nl and you can create your own Wii game! You can play Lugaru with the Wiimote of course!
