still awaiting my registration codes...

Post by frsrblch » Sun Dec 10, 2006 8:09 pm

Well, I'm not new to Lugaru, I've played the demo before, but I finally decided to take the leap and buy the game. However, dispite the ~2 hrs listed as the usual time for PayPal payments to go through, and dispite PayPal confirming that the payment went through, I am still without my registration key. It's been about a day, and I am still eagerly awaiting that email.

I was wondering how long those of you who have the game waited for everything to go through, because I have a limited window of time to play this before I need to hunker down and actually study for my finals...

Well, besides the fact that you've only been waiting for one day, you have to ask yourself, which is more important to you at this time? Studying for finals, or a Lugaru registration code?
Just hunker down and study, then play Lugaru once finals are over...reward yourself by burtalizing other animals in a video game.

Chances are you should receive your code pretty soon if you've waited a day. I only waited a day for mine, though I've waited several for David to help me with my accidental de-registration…

I hope my "Receipt ID" would be helpful to prove it's not anything to do with piracy. :|

Ah well, I can live without Lugaru for a while.

I'm not sure if I could live without Lugaru 2 for so long though. :P

This is finals week, so David is totally swamped right now. This vacation I am going to try to get the registration script working again so this is all automated, as it should be.

It came, so all is well. Normally I'm not so impatient, but I'm not quite used to buying stuff off the net... I wasn't sure what to expect.

Lugaru is as good as I could have hoped, and more. If you're out there David, thanks for a great game.

Just for the record, it turns out that our email host was having issues, which is why David did not respond too quickly. Normally he is much faster.

Hello, here comes another Turner's fan !
I was wondering, have you still problems with your email host ?
Because it has been six hours since i ordered a Lugaru registration key (Linux version) and i still don't have any reply.
Perhaps it is normal, but i would like to be sure :)
If needed, i can send you me email in pm.
Thanks for supporting Linux !

Just so you know, the two hours for the email to go through is almost always accurate, but David and/or Jeff currently need to manually process all the PayPal emails they get and send you the code. (Unless things have changed and Jeff got the automated version of this ordeal to work)

I think i was too impatient, because I just received my activation code !
(Perhaps that was my own mail host which had delay, anyway, i'm now enjoying the full game) I now understand what Insane mean really, with these wolves :)
