Yah, the island is a dangerous place, even for carolers.

Why can't we all just get along?

Thanks.

If you hit slo-mo (B), or better yet play in super slo-mo, and then hold the V button down during scene changes, you may see lots of weird stuff.

Like this.

PS: Anybody else having trouble with ImageShack lately? I'm getting extremely long load times, "Failed to open page," and requests to resize images.

Should I go with Photobucket or something else?

I have a separate game in my dock called Slo-Mo. It has game speed set at 0.1, and it moves as slowly as if you were underwater. If you hit B, you can barely see T move.

It can be agonizing if you have to cover lots of ground. But you get some very interesting effects. It's how I exploded April in this one:

Image

But be careful with weapons. Knives, swords and bos all act very strange in SSM. If you drop 'em, they bounce, skitter, spin and fly off at incredible speed, while you plod along after them like a slow loris. T just missed grabbing this knife, and look what happened:

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll give you some tips on things to try for the ultimate in Lugaru Laughablity.

After having Jeff help me out of my de-registration problem, I decided to play around with reverse playback, AKA negative slomo:

Sorry for the quality of the second image, but I had to resize it to make it reasonably visible.

My explanation for the strange effects of negative slomo:
It plays things back in reverse, but it doesn't keep track of what's happened before, so it just shows things moving in the opposite of what they would normally. In this case, Turner was closing his mouth, so in reverse playback he opened his mouth continuously, as the fact it's going in reverse negates anything that tells him to do something, as time isn't actually moving at all, just the objects and characters.

That makes sence, I just always though the game was like "Slow mo? BACKWARDS? WTF am I supposed to do!? *Grabs rabbits and stretches them out of confusion*"

Is anyone wondering why turner's tongue seems to be hanging out like that in the second shot?

I never even knew his tongue had polygons for it and not just a texture, either that or it's an amazing trick.

One of my older and more perverted screenshots:

Rather inoffensive, really.

More like "Elephant nose umbilical cord."

Now, if you could use it to grab an opponent in unexpected paces, that would be a special feature!

Better yet: STAB THEM!
