Lugaru demo problems

So, I happened to play the Lugaru demo quite a while ago, and it worked brilliantly. So I was reminded of it a few days ago and re-installed the demo from the old file I had. To my suprise, I can't even get past the initial menu screen. It lags so badly I am forced to quit using alt F4 because the mouse takes fully 20 seconds to register a click. Why on earth has this happened? I haven't changed my graphics card or anything since playing the game before...

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 9200 128MB.

Try to reinstall the game.
Update graphics card drivers if you're high on Windows (what OS are you using?)

XP. Yar, crappy I know. My friend keeps trying to convert me to linux, but I play games too much. :p

I am updating the graphics drivers now, but the thing is it worked fine beforehand... That's why I doubt it will make much difference...

Hey, what do you know, it worked!

Everything looks... Proper now. Wow. :p They wern't that old drivers either, but meh. Thanks for your help anyway guys.

I might point out that lugaru's on linux too....

I do know that. But I also play other games besides Lugaru. :p
