I'm sorry if I sound like a douche, and some of them are well written.

But, seriously, guys.

This is Lugaru. This is not a game with a deep plot. This is not a game with memorable characters.

This is fucking Lugaru.

It's a game with anthropomorphic bunny rabbits.

When we had just one it was understandable. Now there are like 10 floating around.

It seems to me like everyone just jumped on a shiny bandwagon that was driving by after Invertin's deal.

Why even bother? Use your writing talents to make something original. I find that most of this fanfiction could be a regular story if you took out the anthropomorphic rabbits.

I'll admit I've never had much respect for fanfiction in the first place. But come on, guys. It's getting a little old.

Imagination is a wonderful thing. Don't see why it bothers you so much.

I see all these arguements, and wonder why people like to complain, and why people have been throwing the f word around on these boards lately.

We write these fanfics for the same reason.

I think Everyone is starting to loose faith in Lugaru 2 he rabbits other foots release. they need some more news, even if its the removal of a code error, or a new Graphical bug removed.

did I forget to say Chainsaws in Lugaru 2 and World of warcarft suck?

MMORPGs get boring because nobody role-plays in them, that's one thing I hate about MMORPGs. Other than that, MMORPGs are fun.

I agree with you wormguy. Not to slight anyones artistic abilities, I just don't particularly like fanfic, and I don't see what the appeal is.

I just don't read fanfics. It's a peaceful coexistence. So far, no fanfic has tried to steal my food, so I'm good. So far.

Actually, I do it BECAUSE I'm so good at writing regular, original stories. My mind isn't normal. See, I have to write something and get myself on a streak before I can write any of my good original stuff. My earlier thread dealing with Lugaru fanfiction leading into my post on the Randomness board about my own regular fiction is just an example of this.

But seriously, if it bothers enough people I'll stop. There's other forums where I can do this.

It shouldn't bother anyone. If you ask me, do what you want to do until you get banned. And writing fanfics shouldn't be the first step to getting banned.

I'm a (hobbyistic) writer, just like you, but definitely not one who does fanfics. Imho that's just a waste of time when you can make original worlds. Shouldn't stop you though.
