Do you have debug mode on, then?

(the minimap is also disabled on "Insane" difficulty level)

Also, I've never even tried using tab to disable the minimap, so
I don't even know if it works.

I never noticed the tab key disabling the minimap, even with debug mode on, and even if it's in the readme. But it is always disabled anyway if you play on insane difficulty. And it's twice as immersive!

well i needed a key, i send maps to my friend and i dont want them to be easy for him. Like there's one that's like this huge maze. But he can look at the mini map. I also have this dark level but he can see where the enemys are.

…Unless he plays on Insane, which I don't 'cause I prefer fun to challenge.

With a maze you'd have trouble navigating with the minimap if it involved walls. I don't think walls show up on the minimap, only boxes and trees and bushes (Maybe not bushes) do, and maybe something else.

yeah, well i didnt think of that till i made the entire thing with boxes...i tried putting boxes in other places so it looked like the real path was blocked, that kinda helped. mostly its the cave i want fixed.

Eh... the minimap isn't that accurate. It sometimes doesnt display random boxes :? . I dont think it would matter personally, because he'll prolly just use the map editor and fly over it all :P . Can we see some of these leet maps 8) ?

What kind of a hosting site have you been to
You just press a button, choose a file, press two buttons, copy the link
it gives you and paste it here.

If you want to know about filesharing, try looking it up at en.wikipedia.org - all you need to know to become a greedy leecher is written down right there.

Beware of malware. Don't pirate shit. Use google. Download Linux, install and never again feel the urge to download weird software you won't use anyway ( -> Maya).

I always download weird software I might eventually have a use for if I get round to it. This has no downside since the only software I ever download is shareware. Oh, and I use a mac so it won't have access to any system files, let alone actually have any malicious content. 8)

Long live shareware!
