Dead map download links.
Please try this out: http://wolfire.com/upload
It is kind of limited, but it should be sufficient to allow people to upload maps and pictures for the forums and wiki.

Your wiki spam blocker didn't accept my maps zip because of
http://wolfire.com/upload/data/files/Lu ... ficult.zip
There's a .ru in there. You might wanna delete my uploaded file
http://wolfire.com/upload/data/files/Lu ... ficult.zip
because now there's that one and
http://wolfire.com/upload/data/files/Lu ... ficult.zip
Didn't see a way for a better workaround.
I also put the Webcam thingie pic into the wrong folder. Hehe. You need someone / something that tidies up.
Suggestion: A folder per uploading user, bound to the forum identity?
To clarify things, I did that stupid Webcam pic mistake on purpose, of course. I'm cool and stuff.
Edit: Is that script bulletproof against stuff like launching an executable locally (at your server) via PHP by first uploading it and then calling it from a browser? Otherwise, the world as you know it is in danger.

The idea is to have links in the wiki and forums instead of having a repository in the script itself (although that would be cool). Don't worry about the file repository itself getting messy. This script is really basic so there is not really any way to give people the ability to delete their own files and such. If someone can find a better one, I am all for it.
Well, no software is bullet proof... I actually would trust it a lot more than this old version of phpBB, though.rudel_ic wrote:Edit: Is that script bulletproof against stuff like launching an executable locally (at your server) via PHP by first uploading it and then calling it from a browser?
