Trouble finishing the first level of the demo

I feel horribly stupid. I'm search on the forum, but it seems that I'm the only one stupid enough to be stuck so quickly.
After beating the first bad guy, every talk in the village seems to tell me to go find other bad guys, but everything I can manage to do is get lost in a huge level, not being able neither to find my way not to find those bad guys.
Can somebody help me ?

This has already been answered before, apparently your search didn't yield many useful results.

The basis of the game is advancing in the story, and fighting bad guys. In that order. Look around the village, what you can see on your minimap is all that's there, the rest of the area is completely empty and endless.

Look around the village, there's something hidden in there. If you can't find anything, try checking the minimap.

Heh, sorry, I got confused with the you-know-what where you have to find Jack. Apparently the solution for that goes to pretty much everything you get stuck on that's puzzling in Lugaru though.

If you were him/her, you wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about, because you wouldn't have got that far. Maybe I shouldn't have even tried to avoid a spoiler, would that have helped? No.

The obvious blatant spoiler was the one I you-know-what'd out. Yeah, I could've you-know-who'd Jack, but that didn't occur to me at the time. Happy? Well, I should be asking that of myself since the only reason I'm saying this is to conclude my semi-unfinished post earlier.

Unless you're insulting the thread creator's intelligence by implying that he can't understand that little exchange (which I'm not denying is a plausible possibility, but I don't know him well enough to be certain of that as of yet -- although the thread's very title does increase the likelihood of that), it doesn't appear to be "you-know-what'd out" to me at all.
