Do you do anything specific for it to happen such as killing a rabbit (thus enabling slow-motion)?

Maybe you have your graphics too high?

geforce 5500? Nice.

That should be able to handle lugaru fine.. Maybe there's something wrong with your computer. Lugaru doesn't make my blue screen come up and my computers a piece of junk!

Try setting the quality to medium- before when i played lugaru on high quality, the screen would fill with static whenever i got hit hard or killed an enemy, it was fixed when i lowered quality.

If anything weird is happening when rabbits are defeated (or jumping through the air really fast) then you can fix it by turning off motion blur.

What OS are you playing on?

If you're on Windows (and Linux? I don't know) try updating graphics drivers.

That's what he meant... they can be two synonymous terms as far as I know...

I know that I can't play Lugaru with motion blur, but I can play ArmA fine with its postprocessing effects set to maximum (basically it has blur (no motion blur unfortunately) and all that good stuff)

So... wtfm8omghax

Hmmm, have you tried reinstalling it or anything? We're running out of possible solutions I believe.

It really does sound like either overheating, or perhaps a bad ram chip. Does it do this with any other games?

try recreating it.. play lugaru, make it crash remember what made it crash (what gfx effects on, what u did) and post it here!
