Wrong. It has been in production since 2003. Basicly david has been developing it eversince summer or fall of 2003. It would of taken at least 6 months just to develop the game if there were 10 people developing it. Yet david manage to develop it allmost by himself. It was cool even at the very early builds of lugaru, the game was not that bugy. Come to think of it the early builds basicly had no bugs. Sure once in a while theres some bugs and crashing but still it was very solid.

OK then make your own parody of Lugaru and make it less buggy, more polished, fancier and do it in 1/2 to 1/4th of the time david took for his. Oh and don't forget to make the game by yourself.

Of coarse it's a long time. Point out one single decent quality, fun game that didn't take a long time to make. You think that any of the major titles were just barely in creation when you heard about them? most have been in production a year minimum before the company even announces the project. you hear about them after they've gotten a fair ammount of work done.

When waiting on a game to come out you just have to be patient. Honestly I would be happier if david could work on lugaru longer than he is planning since that would turn out a more polished/optimized version with more features than he would have gotten if he released it say 2 months ago?

Longer production times usually result in better, more stable products. It also lets the devs relax a little more rather then having this super short deadline to make. But that depends on the developer I guess..

Oh well that is just my oppinion.

Well you first need to get a file hosting server. I'm not sure what companies give you free hosting.

You can try this link which provides various hosting options.

http://www.free-webhosts.com/free-image-hosting.php.

Although I can't answer questions about how to display the images using their links since they usually provide specific info about it. After you've found an image hosting place thingy then you need to signup for their free account (please doublecheck that you chose the free account rather than the pay options).

After the signup you need to follow their directions on how to upload the image to the net. after the file is uploaded you will most likely have to check their faq's to see how to display your newely uploaded image (I'm assuming that most of these sites will probably not give you the links immediately after you upload the file)

After you find out what the images link is to display your new image then you can post images like the following example:

Enjoy

If you want that eye thing as your avatar (heh, copycat!) you can just go hit the profile link at the top of the page, scroll down to the bottom (where it says "upload from your machine") or something to that effect, hit browse, and find the image. I definitely didn't open a fileserver.

well that works too but having image hosting has other benefits. I was still working on the post and forgot that I had already submitted it.

Was in the middle of editing it to make it better. 8)

I met David (and played Lugaru) in summer 2003. So he obviously started before that. I believe January 2003.
