Health meter?

I think it'd be cool to have a health meter that you could see at all times.

This would be especially useful on the "insane" setting, when it takes about two well-placed hits to kill you.

Did any thought go into this at the beginning?

David doesn't like on screen indicators as you can see, Lugaru has none, it was an intentional design. You can tell how much damage you are taking by how blurry your screen becomes, its best to run away untill it clears. Note that you heal faster standing still than moving, so if possible get up on a block where enemies will not follow you and then wait.

Hm...never noticed a blur, but I have noticed it get a little darker when I get cut.

And is knife damage healable, or not?
Cuz I thought I read in the readme or somewhere that it was permanent.

Knife damage is more like blood loss. It is unhealable and it's independent from getting smacked around.

Hey i never found anything to see my health, exept when i 'crash' after a mis-placed midair roll he stand holding his stomach...

You need to have Blur and Damage Effects turned on.
