since lugaru 2 is coming out soon perhaps have an end of lifetime lugaru map making contest or even scenario making contest it certainly would be interesting...

A: Lugaru 2 is not coming out soon at all, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't out by christmas 2008…

B: Games don't "Die" as soon as just one sequel is released. I bet there are a lot of people still playing Metal Gear Solid 1, even after two (And soon to be three) sequels came out.

C: Nice idea.

Hell yeah. I get better every time i play through, my record for shortest time is 2 hours 11 minutes *headbang* still can't get that Fox rating D;

Anyways this is a good idea, though I can't code for crap. As simple as the debug level maker is I can't even make a simple tower without having something mess up the whole level...

That's what I just said, MGS1 + MGS2 and MGS3 = two sequels to MGS1.

MGS1 + MGS2 +MGS3 and MGS4 = 3 sequels to MGS1.

All this talk about MGS makes me wanna get my wallet…

Metal Gear : Zanzibar
Metal Gear : Outer Heaven
Metal Gear : VR Training Missions
Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2 : Sons Of Liberty
Metal Gear Acid
Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns Of The Patriots.

So there's 8 of those games... which means 7 sequels ftw.

You also forgot that only MGS games count. There are indeed a lot of metal gear games out there though, like other franchises (As much as I hate to use that word).

No, the MGS games aren't the only ones that count. MG and MG2 for the MSX were fantastic games, and you can't really call yourself a fan of the series if you don't at least try them.

And why did you list the VR missions game before Metal Gear Solid? Metal Gear Solid came out first.
