Well, you WERE the one who agreed that abseiling would be a good feature...how fucking often would he need to use abseiling in the game? I'm guessing not even once when he can drop from such heights anyway.

I'm sorry, you have an opinion?

If David wants to really make this game feel real, proper falling damage is a must, in which case abseiling would be pretty damn useful.

And I don't think parachutes exist yet.

I think it would be awesome to add something more than just a falling ragdoll when Turner falls too much. For example, it would be great, if there would be an animation like he is falling and waving his hands in circles (Like usually people does when falls from heights) + screaming. It would be awesome  .

Yeah but I don't think he's trying to make the game that realistic though, or else that wolf wouldn't get up after I rabbit kicked him off the side of a mountain. He would just die but how fun would that be, not very.

I wasn't talking about the Lunesta butterfly, I was talking about the "none of that rpg crap." Nobody said anything about about putting in rpg elements, where did he get rpg from, there's nothing about rpg here.

I'm sure David is going in this direction, you saw his youtube video.

ROFL I can't really imagine what Turner's scream would be like. I'd prefer to leave that bit out if it's alright with you. because it would be more silly than anything else.

However, yes, I think David is going to do something else other than the Transform-Into-Body-Without-Bone-Structure-When-Falling thing.

Phail.

No, I agreed to abseiling ftw.
I never said it should be implemented into lugaru 2.

Well, the context of the conversation was whether or not to put these things into Lugaru, so it's natural anyone reading would have assumed your concurrence with the use of abseiling in the game.

Otherwise, your post was completely off-topic, and therefore you failed anyway, not me. =)

But anyway I doubt Turner needs gadgets and shit. All he really needs is his bare, talented hands and possibly a weapon against a wolf if you're crap at the game. XP

Hah! Double-phail, then. Don't try to hide your phailtality, it only makes people look more stupid.
EMBRACE THE NUBNESS! xD
(That means yes, I'm admitting I failed there, but that doesn't mean you didn't).

To be honest, I absolutely agree.
That's what made Lugaru 1 so great: Unlimited hand... er... paw-to-paw (or knife) combat.

Progress and evolution is ok, but if you stray too far from the original, it just won't be a sequel, will it?

Now let's just hope everything goes well and we get to see Lugaru 2, in all its rabbit-kicking glory, very soon...

We never said anything about gadgets. The rope can be there already. Or vines, or whatever.

I still want abseiling. Or atleast swinging around on ropes/vines/whatever.

That's a bad thing?

I just got through Legend 100% and I keep looking at pipes and ropes and shit and think "now I just climb up that ledge and shimmy over there and swing off to that... oh, right, this is Dirge of Cerberus..."

Im sure that Turner should have more actions for stealth.
For example a wall hug thing, like you can look around corners.
Anyway, for the most i want a Pc version with an editor that can change ANY model, texture, animation etc. Plus a level editor and a thing for effects and so - the game should be fully modable, and with fully i mean everything, even the menu, buttons, new actions, camera movement, maybe even scripts - man, that would be awesome, i would sit and make mods all day, make campaigns all day xD! Btw, i got a great idea - Even that Turner jumps high, he still should have ability to slide from too much rotated platforms (Or terrain). At the same time he would be able to turn and use his fighting skills.
Hey, that actually would be fun, sliding from a hill, and hitting every enemy on the sides with a staff and when ending to slide, turn few raiders into a dust in just few seconds - Hell yeah!

L2 isn't Metal Gear Solid… :P

But it'd be nice if it was! :D

I don't really like the gameplay in the MGS games after the first one.

Wall hugging seems kind of pointless if you don't have a gun to pop out with. I like Assassins Creed hide in plain site game play but I don't know how necessary it would be in Lugaru because stealth isn't very sneaky and Hitman like, it's quick and a lot of jumping from really far away and rolling when really close up.

Though I would like to know what David has planned for new kinds of stealth game play. I wouldn't mind any changes.
