AI suggestion

This is in regards to Lugaru II, just a development suggestion.

Is there any possibility of developing AI to fight eachother? I think that'd add a new element to gameplay that I feel is missing from the first game. In every map it was either nothing but allies or nothing but enemies.

The main reason I'm asking this is because it can be perfectly implemented into the storyline. I obviously don't know what you're doing with Lugaru II's storyline, but this element would allow for a possibility of a small scale (to keep the game running smoothly) war between the wolves and the rabbits, since that does seem to be where the storyline is going.

I don't know if this has already been suggested, is in development or even already developed, but I think something as small as this would make the game seem that much better and should at least be considered.

That actually would be awesome, like running through a large fight between wolves and rabbits towards your target. Also, i think the game should contain more than just one mesh for wolves and rabbits, there also should be a rabbit women and children meshes. Also let's not forget about the elements that makes game more interactive - ropes, swimming, hanging on ledges, ladders... The game also should contain something like a wallrun vertically and slowmotion not only for the kills, but also for the style tricks.

That would be cool, but you would have to be careful to leave the right amount of enemies for the PC to fight. Also the creator wouldn't really know which AI's would win which fights. It would require a delicate balance.

I actually don't remember if David has said anything about friendly AI. I think it would be an excellent addition to the game, personally.

Jendraz, in regards to keeping balance, how about having crucial AI (ie, important storyline characters) having infinite health? That way there's no concern as to whether or not they're killed by the other AI you'd be fighting.

Sure..but if they are as aggressive as the current Lugaru AI's they will probably kill a lot of enemies.
