that's french , and it does mean something like : get ready to fight , or something close of it ...

It is a French fencing term that literally translates to "on guard"; it is used to warn your opponent that the match is about to start, so they should get into the "en garde" defensive stance.

If there is multiplayer (I doubt it) in Lugaru 2, you could have something like fencing competitions.

I don't think that fencing is a good computer game, it's not even remotely gory, there are no awesome moves and matches are over in no time. It's boring to play.

What fencing computer game has there been? None.

They could make it interesting, if there was a bit of detail added in. Besides, what about all the stupid suggestions there have been? I think this suggestion is a lot better than a lot of others. Who are you to say fencing wouldn't be fun? Has it been tried?

I use to take fencing classes, it was pretty fun but I was awful at it.

Yeah... There was some olympics game with 3D-graphics that had fencing in it. Aaand there was another olympics title on the C64 with fencing.
Actually, the C64 game was kinda cool.
