Ditto, but then I thought "Wait, TXT talk? Bad choice of words.".

That makes me think of Esinstern Beta. For those who dont know what that is, download Cube 2
Those of you who have tryed to work with it, it uses speach bubbles in a simplistic way that works.

It also makes me think of Usagi's Lugaru Comics.

Hmmm... Is anyone thinking what Im thinking?

I was thinking that too.
*Nods*
Yep. Nap time.

Btw in the context of the poll it's obvious he didn't mean "txt talk". Case closed.

*Waits for someone to say "LOLOBJECTION".*

We should dedicate a thread to the Phoenix Wright parodies on youtube. They are lolarious.

Moving right along...

My thought was to use speach bubbles, but adopt Usagis Lugaru Comics style of Speach bubble.
They look natural, they are there, but dont obscure your visson of the back ground.

No, I really think subtitles are a tried and tested method for things like this, and speech bubbles would be silly. Come on, this isn't Final Fantasy 7.

Experimentation is a good thing. They can try it yet not implement it.
I suppose your right.

I'll tell you what I thought I would miss untill I met my Grampa.
Key word conversation like in Exile. How ever, Working on my Gramps Ranch (its more of a small feed lot, but he calls it that).

You Move North
*Bang*
*Wood Sounds*

Cow: Moo
*Escaped Calf*
Talking to: Grampa
System: you enter Talk mode --- Type a Key word to talk about it.
-Look- You see an Old Man Dressed in well worn, once High quality Cowboy gear.
You say: Cow Escaped- Oh yess, I Rase Cattle... This Camps Rough but she'll be right, as ya say back in New Zealand, Eh?
You Say: Escaped: I dont know much about that...
You say: Cow- Oh yess, I Rase Cattle... This Camps Rough but she'll be right, as ya say back in New Zealand, Eh?
You say: Calf- Oh yes... You want to feed the ol Boop now? ask Your Grandma Rue for the Bottles, shes in the house last place I checked.
you say: Ugh... Im getting Frustrated, Im gonna Kill this Compu_- Gammers are all alike... They would all do what those Dam Lyberals did in Colombine!

You Move East
Your In Combat: A Calf

PRomise me this will never happen in Lugaru 2!

Interesting question. I think I'd actually be interested to hear the creators' idea of the characters' voices.

On a sidenote... Just call me the great Re-Turner. I keep leaving and coming back again.

(Wtf I suck.)

Age limit in voice acting should be lowered testicals. But I think that text still goes for me :p

Edit: also there should be humor.

You're talking to Doom, there... one of the known-to-be troll-like young persons on the not-quite-black list that's not-really-official-at-all. Telling him to have more patience is like trying to give ADHD to a five-ton rock. =D

Plus, that was just a tiny little bit of time before Overgrowth was announced, just after Doom left, overturning his entire argument.
