it says Lugaru 2 will be more of a update of Lugaru. Will it? Or will it really be Lugaru 2, with more weapons, better graphics and sound quality (Don't forget multi-player)? Basically, will it be like all the updates in the blog? I hope so, it seems so much cooler, then just basically making a mod of Lugaru. To tell you the truth, I'm getting a little tired of Lugaru after a year and a half ago finding it on http://www.fun-motion.com/physics-games/lugaru/. (Kinda obvious it would get boring after awhile.) Also, can you give us a video update? Or at least a Screen shot? Thanks, Agarrett

Actually, it says he's thinking about making an update of Lugaru 1 with the Phoenix engine before he makes Lugaru 2. Not instead of L2.

I hope not.

From the sound of it, Lugaru 2 will take quite some time to complete: the plan seems to be that there will be a Lugaru 1.5, so to speak, with the Phoenix engine (as R_T and BWS mentioned) to satiate our appetites for yet another awesome game in the meantime.

Also, even though it's already been said, both in other threads and in this, I'd like to emphasize the part in that quote which mentions it will use the "new" (Phoenix) engine, and that it will not simply be "a mod of Lugaru".

If you want to wait however long it takes to finish coding and releasing Lugaru 2 (which, from the sound of it, will be a very ambitious and immense game), then by all means, pass up whatever it is the Wolfire team has up their sleeves and wait for Lugaru 2

if I were you I'd just check the blog to see what's already in it.

would an update take 3/4 years to make?
and if you check out the blog you will see the team is starting from scratch, soooo i think L2 WILL be L2 not L1.2

This is what I've heard so far: Lugaru 2/overgrowth will have like 10 new weapons, there WILL be a lugaru 1.5 type thing (probably just like an L2 beta) and the new features for L2 will be (so far as I've heard):
Maxed out graphics
A new story
Multiplayer
Near 10-20 weapons
And much much more!

Will there ever be a Lugaru 3?

I don't mean like next year or something. Maybe in like 10 years minimum? Or will Lugaru 2 be where it stops?

Where there is a prototype and the full game. Don't you agree?

I thought that I heard somewhere that after they were done with Lugaru 2 (now Overgrowth) that they would be working on -other- games. (wonder what sort of games)
