a question about DEBUG
a question about DEBUG
hello first, i am new on this forum and i mainly joined because i got this question:
first i have to say, im from germany so i dont have an english or american keyboard on my mac!
the question is:
some other forums and questions say, that i have to change "debug 0" to "debug 1" in the config text data. yeah, this works but if i want to save it, it says: "config.txt konnte nicht gesichert werden" which means "config.txt couldn't be saved". and this is the actual problem i have.
please help me or try to.
thanks in advance, shockwave

Re: a question about DEBUG
Try saving it onto your desktop, then move it into the lugaru>data folder to replace the first one. i had to do this on my Vista PC cause it was screwing up the "You don't have to correct permissions to access these files" but i was the admin. Fixed it now, but i had to do ^that^ then.

Re: a question about DEBUG
He's on a Mac, and it doesn't sound as though permissions are the problem.
When you open it up in TextEdit, make sure it's in plain text when you save it, Lugaru refuses to recognize rich text files.

I have a debug question also
you know where it says difficulty (at 0) how do you raise it?

Re: a question about DEBUG
same deal
do the same as above for the difficulty value.

Re: a question about DEBUG
alternatively, when making a new 'user', you get the option for Easier, Difficult, or Insane. These are the three difficulty levels.

this thread needs to be stickied, and renames, Debug Help.
