Replica of the image i saw on wiki, here you go gray. :D
Thanks rudel_ic, i had to use that "paint texture in blender" trick to figure out what i did wrong, and your converter continues to be the easiest part of this, thanks. and thanks to Grayswandir, for the good request.

Oh, that looks awesome, I'll have to try it when I get home.

I did have another idea, but I'm not sure if it would work. Is it possible to turn the staff into a two handed sword?

I can just see that...

(Swing, Smack, Crack... "oops" with a sword)

Hah, maybe this would make a more authentic Scottish Claymore =D

Here's your other request gray, a Indonesian Machete.
Thanks rudel_ic, your converter is at the heart of these mods.

Someone asked for a Lightsaber, if you want one of those, you could just edit a texture for the Rapier, or Claymore, one of the ones with a thin blade, make the middle red-white, and have it fade to red then back to red-white. that would work well.

I think the main problem would be where Turner puts his hands in some of the attack and parry animations.

exactly what i was worried about. and one thing that i suppose is not-so-well know, is that the weapons are turned around during an attack,so the billhook is actually slicing the enemy with the convex edge. And the staff is flipped when swung, so it would hit the enemy with the handle if it was made a sword. maybe i can defeat this problem... anyway, go look for yourselves, put it in slomo, and watch the weapon during the swing. The billhook is the best for this, because its sides are like opposites. check it out.

Yo Lotus Wolf, check your PMs.

I suppose you could flip the weapon so that the edge hits when he swings, but then it might look weird while its being held (Normally you wouldn't hold a weapon blade up I suppose, but it would fix the problem).
As for the staff-to-sword problem, just flip the sword (still a problem with hand positon though...)? That way when he swings, the blade will hit.
Not entirely sure if this would work (and I'm not near a computer with Lugaru on it right now), but isn't each animation a seperate file? So make the stationary stance with the staff the sword animation.
I'll have to test this out.

Yeah there are a lot of things that happen, but usually it happens fast enough not to be noticed, so i dont think its a problem. The staff sword would be positioned to be backhanded while carrying, then during the attack it would flip forehand, thats the way around that one.

and i haven't looked into the animations, i think i might screw it up if i tried anything...

What about an Eiku?
Its basically a wood oar with a sharp edge. With the pictures I've seen on Google they even hold it sharp side down so you wouldn't have to worry about Turner whacking people with the "handle" part with the downward swing animation.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to try out the weapon's you've already made at my request, I'm stuck at work right now.

I've replaced the staff with the Aegis staff. It's my favorite.

its ok, gray, if your at work i completely understand. and i was thinking about an eiku already, i saw it on a video game, they called it the great oar. anyway, yeah, it'll be here. :)

Is there a way to make the Parang a knife by changing file names? I'd like to be able to use the Billhook and the Parang (As the parang is technically a "knife") at the same time.
