Tannim's Mini Campaign - Updated 8/5/09

Post by tannim » Fri Dec 19, 2008 2:33 am

Hey guys, with the help of Lotus, who organized this into a campaign, I have made an 11 map run for Lugaru. There are mazes and relatively exotic maps. I wanted to try something more unusual than the standard ones. I have seen some good ones from other people. Hopefully these stand up too : )

All the enemies are Chibi. You will fit into this campaign better if you type

"Proportion 2 1 1 0.2" at the start of every map.

Evil Twin is an unusual level. It is second to last though really it should have been a final map. The rabbit is super powered and there is a high probability that you WILL shoot through the walls when he hits you. You can get back up into the tunnel with him, but it's usually easier to start over. To get back up with him climb up the hill until you walk through the floor. If you find it too frustrating, cheat and pop his head.

MultiLevel, the final map, may run very slowly. If so, sorry, those fires just slow things down.

Put the main.txt into the campaigns directory. The T** files into the Maps directory.

Updated to correct a minor spelling error

I made the campaign and "I" can't get past the Evil Twin level fairly. He's one hard rabbit!

Whenever I die, it keeps saying loading then goes back to grayed death screen.

that's weird. When I died I just started the level again. The "Multilevel" map is off the overworld map though, never noticed that before.

XD

Don't worry. If it's Chibi, it's funny.
This formula has been correct for me 80% of the time.

Yeah, I think, the Evil Twin is over-powered. Because I played it for ten or twenty minutes and it got boring to the end. The scores went down, till I scorde nothing for a normal hit, one point per 2xcompo, 7 per 3xcombo, about 20 for a 4xcombo and 11x for a mega. He got 3 spinecrushes from me, a numerous legcannons and wallkicks, I just didn‘t knew anymore, what else to do. I made 9500 points in this attempt, till I died. Then I thought just to quit the game, but I was a bit slow and got kicked through the wall by a roundhouse-kick. Done nothing, but a second afterwards, I got a Touch of death and he died. What a pity. 9500 points gone. Maybe he died from his own roundhouse-kick, by falling through the bottom. Why he didn‘t made this the first time...

that map is supposed to be that way. it's for very advanced players that know how to handle ridiculously overpowered enemies. that map is the best one to learn how to reverse and to avoid damage on.
