How du you will travel in Overgrowth
i mean like int Lugaru TRF - yse the map to travel from village to village
or whit mounts

I don't think that this has been revealed. As I understand it, there will be levels, as opposed to a big world you roam around in without loading times or whatever. Can't say how I got to that conclusion right now though; so take this with a bucket of salt.

I thought it was all about travelling all over the island.

If so, I'm hoping for a fable 2/fallout 3/oblivion style method of travel. (You can walk there yourself or fast travel.)

really? I hated that, first it's suited best to rpgs, second even than it takes part of the fun out of the game, unless they make the traveling not so fun in which case why'd they even make the game? why'd they even make it so you can travel? traveling all over the island would be fun it's true, but no fast travel.this was opinion no matter how else I may have phrased it.

It worked for fallout 3 though, because it made you travel there first, then you could fast travel there.

Think about it like this, you had to work for your reward.

Plus if there were random encounters...
Man that would suck.
The only way I could see this working without completely interrupting gameplay is by having really fast mounts.

If there -are- levels I think that they should appear on your map as you discover, hear about them, etc then when you get to the world map you can move to whatever place you wanted that's revealed (unlike in Lugaru where you could -only- go to the next place)

This would be good for visiting towns to get information or a new weapon or something.

I hope if they do just do level by level things that they allow an 'open world' to be made for a mod (I.E. RPG mods and such, which probably have some potential for this game)
