well since i can't make campaigns, due to dialogue problems on windowz, i make other assets.
Lately, i've moved away from modeling, because i'm waiting on 3DSMax (i'll write a tutorial for lugaru models for it), and have been exploring texturing. I thought i'd share this one with you guys, since it's pretty good IMO.
First, i made a freehand sketch of the map. Then i scanned it onto my PC, then used GIMP to sharpen and darken the lines, then filled in the colors, then created the bump map, then blurred it slightly, then made the border. Then i darkened the ocean. anyone who wants to use it can, since i wont be...
anyway, what do you think?

hahahah well she got jealous because I let her friend have some of my food. so she's kind of not talking to me right now. that explains the bitterness of the last post huh? but still kind of illogical to me.

they're close it's been a few hours so she's cooled down enough to tell me that she loves me. but still I don't talk to our friend anymore.

hell yes I like the map. hahahah I might have to download a copy and fool around with it in gimp too just to see what I get if you don't mind.

think so? i only blurred it by one pixel... it looked strange the way it had been, so i slightly blurred it and i thought it looked better. it wasn't a motion blur either, so you really shouldn't be able to tell.
