Serial Troubleshoot

I gifted a copy of Lugaru to my friend.But he was unable to register as his name and serial was not accepted.Please help.

Obviously, make sure he enters it EXACTLY. Besides that, contact Jeff or John or someone at Wolfire through one of their contact systems. Good luck

He entered it EXACTLY.And no one is online at the meebo plugin.Dont they check the forum?And will they check my mail and reply.

Yes, in my xp they respond to emails before 24 hours, sometime earlier.

Probably not linked to your problem, but I give it a shot
I remember there was an issue with special characters in the name so, if your friend has special characters in the name that can be a problem.
Another thing is that the serials for the different versions, mac, windows and linux, are different , so if he registered for the wrong OS ...
Seems you or rather your friend will have to wait till Wolfire responds, which is usually pretty quick.

In any case, another option is to use the Meebo thing you can find on the wolfire page by going to 'live chat'

I heard that devilsclub got on the IRC, so I'll be staying off for a while. Seriously, I think that a great deal of the community would chew devilsclub out if they got the chance, so I'll be avoiding the drama, and let others do it for me.
