If you're on Windows try right clicking the shortcut and pressing "Run as Admin" This might make it work. Give me an email on [email protected] if it doesn't.
Thank you matto, you are a genious! (I'm stating the obvious again, aren't I?) It works!
No I'm not. All it is is just an error with file permissions because the Program Files folder is protected on some Windows machines ;)

I agree with the other guy, I love your Lugaru Downloader. When you have the time (agreeing with yet another guy) can you create a Weapon Browser that switches between the weapon models (courtesy of Lotus Wolf?)

Also, what's that Ancestral Tales campaign? Is that a fake one or am I missing one?

I would like to put weapon switching into the program but I want to get the campaigns sorted first.

Today I added in some features which tells you if it isn't able to copy files to your lugaru folder and then suggests what you could do to get around the problem.

I also have a brand new interface which was demoed in that video I posted in the original post.

Look out for some updates in the next few weeks/days. The program has auto updates built in but you can also go to the projec page to get the latest info.

Okay I tried all the campaigns there...
They were AWESOME!!

I never tried to download any of the mods before because (as quite a few people have said earlier) manually saving over, moving, deleting, and backing-up files is a huge pain. I can't thank you enough!

Also, when are some more campaigns going to be added to the manager?

Thank you :) Nice to know my little project is coming in handy to people.

New campaigns will be added when I hear about them. So far I have all but one that I'm aware of. The last one is a multipart campaign which requires me to change the program around a little bit to support changing from one part to another.

I've coded most of the changes I want to make except for a graceful degrade if there is no internet connect (surrently it just freezes the entire application which isn't really very helpful :P). I'll try and add this in tomorrow morning because it's a fairly simple change and then I can go out and get drunk in the afternoon and evening. Life is good!!! :P

I won't release it untill sunday or monday though as I need to mess about with the auto updater and stuff. Not something to do when you've been drinking and get in at 3am I feel.

1. Download 2. Backup 3. Install
File Backup Error
There was an error when trying to copy the backups into the tempory directory directory. This really shouldn't happen, however it's possible that you don't have the correct permission to access this folder or a file inside this directory has been set to read only.

The best thing to do at this point would be to make sure you are on an admin account and that the files have not been set to read only. You could also press the reset everything button in the settings panel which will clear all current backups and all cached downloads.
