Ho! Whoops.

I guess WHFF went away...

I'll try to upload the Ancestral Tales files to the Wolfire server in the next couple of days.

Looks like some links to map pack files are gone, too.

kehaar, maybe you should try to submit it here: http://www.wolfire.com/lugaru/mods
Just if you weren't aware of it. ;)

Back online again for a couple of people who asked. The link to download the campaign was down due to the demise of Will Host For Food, but now it's hosted by Wolfire it's own self, so it shouldn't disappear again. Link is at the bottom of the very 1st post, or you could just go straight to the Official Lugaru Mods Page

Thanks for playing!

(and thanks, tokage, for the link)

I only have one problem with your campaign:

The story doesn't make any sense to me.

Despite whether you can understand the story, this is Lugaru, and it's strong point is not the ability to tell a good story, it's the ability to make you scream when wolves come running.

D'oh! Really?

Rats, I guess I didn't write it well enough... :/

Did you play it all the way through to the end? (The prologue is a vision, dreamed by Claire the fox)

Really? Maybe I didn't pay enough attention... never got that part.

Yeah, I played it all that way through. Very well done. It had better scripts than the original campaign, (David does not strike me as a writer) but I still was kind of lost. Too much dialog, I think :D The only part that was really annoying was that one jumping level where you fell... I had to turn debug on to beat that one. :)

But other than the confuzzling plot, I thought it was great. My favorite is still Empire, but yours was good too. I like the level design, it's probably my second favorite.

Wow, I gotta say the hat's way off.

I don't know how it slipped under my radar, but I only just got around to playing this campaign, and I must say it's a masterpiece.

The story ties together incredibly well with the original campaign,
And each of the sub plots make sense and tie together well at the end.

Every Level was challenging and new, especially the Cave levels.
Also really excellent use of the size mechanic, and boy was playing as Claire and Rose fun (Claire especially). Awesome that there were finally some strong female main characters in a campaign.

Probably my favorite mod so far =)

Thanks, jo-shadow! Glad you liked it.

It was pretty fun to make. It's interesting to try to make a story with such plot limitations: basically every dialogue is for setting up fight scenes, or for talking about previous fights which leads to more fights...

I can't wait for OG! With an expanded map-objective choice list and way easier building, I bet we get some great stories and challenge mods.

I liked ancestral tales, and I understood the storyline perfectly. Great campaign, kehaar!

Thanks Lotus Wolf.

Any further work on new campaigns, in all your extra free time? And you must be completely buried in snow, I guess...

So I have no idea what to do on the level, "Clair Meets Oakley." I see the green blip inside the fortress but I can't see any way to get inside....Any ideas?

It's reeeeeaally long jumps off some stuff. Right at the limit of jumping, iirc.

Thanks, I got it just a few minutes after posting that!!!! Great campaign so far. I'm really enjoying playing as different animals/characters.
