well i am still new to the forum and things but i had a good idea *well at the time it seems like it* i want to make a little collaboration campaign from the veterans of both the game and making maps and things like a tutorial but with more detail with more tips and hints like you talk to a character and then they give you a task when you complete the task you get a hint or tip on something *example: "Lugaru means werewolf" but a tip that pertains to the game in combat or in editing a map*

why i am doing it: because ever since i was in school and such i was a fan of hands on activities and a little hint or tip would go a long way

reason: i am hoping to get people that are new and die a lot *COUGH me COUGH* would have a chance to get ideas from the veterans and people that know what they are doing yes i know it is dumb but it was a good idea at the time i already made the starting map but i don't know of any good tips or hints that would help

characters so far: 1: player, 7: bunny, 1: wolf

Do you mean you would have a map, with some buildings on it, and some npc's, and you would walk up to one of them and he would say something like, "A good sword technique is to hold down the mouse button and run not directly toward, but just a bit to the left or right of your opponent. The moment your Hero is in range and begins to slash at the enemy, steer your hero slightly away. This makes it much harder for your enemy to reverse you, stealing your sword and injuring you."

Then would you fight him? That might be a bit weird, killing someone who just gave you useful advice. Maybe better to switch to the next level and fight with swords...

exactly what i was aiming for but instead of considering it killing the npc's you use imagination or what ever to make it seem like you knocked them out and stuff like a hands on tutorial each npc has a hint or tip they give you then they let you test it out on them when you get back to the main map it is like nothing happened i think i am making it harder than i explained it but you hit it on the mark it is played out in plain view in my head right now but i am surprised someone actually got what i am saying wow kudos to you well i had one with a funny task you talk to the one outside the town and she will say look for her kids and you have to fight them to test out all your tips there strong and stuff for being so cute and small
