Config.txt!

Post by Jacktheawesome » Sun Sep 12, 2010 2:12 am

I bought and downloaded Lugaru HD, and the file config.txt that everyone keeps talking about isn't anywhere. Also the "maps" and "campaigns" folders that I'm supposed to drag the mod campaigns into are nonexistent in my folder. Thoughts?

Does it work when you run it?
What OS are you running?

The Config.txt is usually made once you run the game. (At least that's how it worked for me)

OS 10.4.11, and the game runs perfectly.

In order to access "config.txt", you need to go to Lugaru, right-click (or control click) and click "Show Package Contents". There are three folders inside, Contents, Data, and Screenshots. It is in "Data".

Alright now that that's all solved, does anyone know how to get the code up in game? I have debug set to 1 in config.txt, but how do you get the map editor and stuff to pop up in game?

That's why I'm asking, nothing in the debug readme works and that includes shift m. ~ was the first thing I tried.

you have to set debug to 1 if you haven't in the config.txt.

THEN run the game and Shift + M and/or ~

I replaced my config file's contents with an awesome Ascii picture of a beautiful sunset and the game is so much better.

you are running the game and then loading a level before you try to enter debug mode?
