Are you sure you are using the most up to date version of Lugaru?

The user files that were posted are in deed corrupt, but I cannot reproduce any of the methods of creating a corrupt file. The type of corruption found in the files should not have been present in the current build of Lugaru, especially if it recreated the file from scratch.

I'll create a new executable that has a workaround for these corrupt User files that should "fix" them and allow you to play with them and send it to David.

In the meantime any more information you can provide on when/how this corruption occurs for you, especially if it continues to occur once the new exe is availble, would be greatly appreciated.

I'll continue to look into this until I can reliably reproduce the error you are describing.

Thanks to Defiance, this patch now should work and still support ATI cards:

great, it works now
that was quick

btw while you're at it (at bugfixing )
i use the del and end keys (of the block above the arrow keys) to jump and crouch. i have to redefine them every time i start lugaru because they are shown as "UNKNOWN" in the options and dont work anymore until i redefine them
